Overview

Thinkin' Finnish? Think, in Finnish! (TiF) is an open-source resource for Finnish-language learners across the world. The documentation was last updated on June 09, 2014.

About the author

Ursula Kallio's native language is English and she has heard Finnish all her life. She decided to study Finnish formally at the University of Minnesota (USA) on more than one occasion. At the time of this writing, Ms. Kallio has traveled to Finland seven times. Fortunately since she first started studying the language, the amount, quality, and accessibility of Finnish-language learning materials have all improved. That said, gaps in available resources still exist for this globally-minor language. Ms. Kallio created the TiF project and accompanying documentation to help fill that gap, and to provide Finnish-language learners with a resource from another learner's perspective rather than that of a native speaker.
